Como foi o vosso Janeiro?

Espero que este início de ano esteja a ser bom apesar do frio e de tudo o que se passa no país e no mundo. 

Eu tenho estado muito ocupada a fazer agendas. Sim, ainda as agendas!

Elas estão a ser um sucesso, principalmente esta, a "It's all in the numbers".

Mas também estas, "Spring Flowers" e "Big Flower".

E estas, "Chocolate Garden", "Chocolate Letters" e "Red Letters".

Estou extremamente feliz por terem gostado das minhas agendas e já comecei a desenhar a de 2013. Têm alguma sugestão?

Obrigada a todos que me apoiaram, seja por terem comprado uma agenda, seja por terem dado uma palavra amiga sempre que necessário.

E agora as novidades estão a caminho.

How was your January?

I hope this year is beginning to be good, despite the cold and everything that goes on in the country and the world.

I have been very busy making planners making. Yes, still the agendas!

O habitual post à segunda após a Feira ficou por fazer. Já há muito tempo que não ficava tão cansada depois de um dia de feira!

Aproveitei no entanto para tirar algumas fotos às novas agendas, ainda faltam algumas, e actualizei a loja Etsy com as primeiras agendas. Podem também ver as novas agendas na página do Facebook e no Flickr.

É bom ver o trabalho de tantos meses ver por fim a luz do dia!

Adorei os comentários às novas agendas na Feira na Fábrica e a surpresa quando abriam a agenda e viam como é por dentro! :) Aquece o coração!

Por vezes parece-me que não estou a conseguir passar a mensagem em relação à diferença do trabalho que faço e são estes pequenos sorrisos que fazem parecer que tudo acabará por resultar.

Tudo é pensado e feito por mim, com grande atenção ao detalhe, desde da escolha e do dobrar do papel, o coser dos cadernos, a escolha dos tecidos e tela de encadernação, o desenho das guardas e no caso das agendas foi ainda um trabalho mais pensado, cada pormenor, cada secção incluída ou excluída foi pensada e desenhada. 160 páginas desenhadas uma a uma por mim ao longo de meses.

Percebem agora o motivo da hibernação? Tudo ficou para trás por causa deste projecto megalómano e complexo!

Acham que para o ano serei novamente maluca?

Hello everyone!

The usual post on Mondays after the Craft Fair wasn’t done. I have not been this tiered after a fair for a very long time since!

However I took some photos of the new planner, I’m missing some, and updated the Etsy shop with the first planners.  You can also check them out at Facebook page and on Flickr.

I loved the comments on the new planners at Feira na Fábrica and the surprise when they opened the calendar and saw how it was inside! :) It warms the heart!

Sometimes it seems to me that I am not getting across the message about the difference of the work I make and it is these small smiles that make it seem that everything will eventually result.

Everything is designed and made by me, with great attention to detail, from the choice and folding of the paper, the sewing of the signatures, the choice of fabrics and bookcloth, the design of the endpapers and in the case of the a planners it was a carefully thought work, every detail, each section that is included or excluded was conceived and designed. 160 pages one by one designed by me over several months.

Do you think that I’ll be that crazy next year?

Como têm sido os vossos primeiros dias de verdadeiro Outono? 

Eu ainda não me consegui habituar à repentina mudança de temperatura e à tempestade que parece ter-se abatido sobre Portugal. 

Sinto falta da luz do Sol mais do que do seu calor. 

E vocês? Gostam deste tempo? 

Para além disso este tipo de condições acaba por interferir no meu trabalho, começando com o tempo de secagem dos livros e terminando com as condições para tirar as fotografias! 

Percebe-se que não gosto de dias escuros e húmidos?

Agora, para notícias melhores.

Quando pela primeira vez disse que ia fazer agendas para 2012 a M. de imediato me encomendou uma, sem saber exactamente como seria o desenho terminado ou o produto final!

Isto é o que eu chamo verdadeira fé no meu trabalho. :)

Tenho tentado ao longo do tempo mostrar as diversas fases do processo, através de fotografias publicadas no blog e no facebook, mas nada é melhor do que o produto final.

E por isso tenho o prazer de vos mostrar o resultado final do meu trabalho e do pedido da M.

A M diz que gostou. :) E isto na verdade é o que realmente interessa!

Obrigada M. por acreditares em mim quando poucas evidências tinhas quando ao resultado final.

As restantes agendas estão quase concluídas e estarão disponíveis até ao final da semana.

Prevejo também postar fotos de outros tecidos disponíveis para que caso pretendam façam uma escolha totalmente personalizada.

As agendas terão as seguintes características:

• Agenda semanal totalmente desenhada por mim;
• Incluí página de rosto, informação do detentor em caso de emergência, calendário 2012 e 2013 com indicação dos feriados nacionais, plano mensal com duas páginas por mês, plano semanal com duas páginas por semana, 13 páginas para contactos e 5 páginas para notas com quadrícula pequena;
• Tamanho 10,5x14cm;
• 160 Páginas de papel reciclado de 80g;
• Capa forrada a tecido e lombada em tela de encadernação, totalmente encadernada à mão;
• Fita de algodão para marcar as páginas e elástico para manter a agenda sempre fechada.

O preço de venda será de 15,00€.

Pode fazer reserva antecipada.

Hello everyone!

How have your fist autumn days been?

I have yet to get used to the sudden change in temperature and the storm that seems to have descended upon Portugal.

I miss the sunlight rather than its heat.

And you? Do you like this kind of weather?

Furthermore this type of conditions ultimately interfere with my work, starting with the drying time of the books and ending with the conditions for taking pictures!

Do you notice that do not like dark, humid days? 

Now for better news.

When I first said that I would be doing 2012 planers M. immediately ordered one, without knowing exactly how the completed  design would be or the final product!

This is what I call true faith in my work. :)

I have tried, over time, to show you the various stages of the process through photographs posted on the blog and on facebook, but nothing is better than the finished product.

And so, I am pleased to show you the end result of my work and the custom of M.

 

Do you like the result?

M says she loved it. :) And that is what really matters!

Thank you M. for believing in me when you had so little evidence as to what would be the final result.

The remaining planners are nearly completed and will be available by the end of the week.

I plan to also post photos of other fabrics available so you can choose if you wish to make a fully customized planner.

The planners shall have the following characteristics:

• Weekly planner completely designed by me;
• Includes title page, page with the owner information in case of emergency, calendar 2012 and 2013 with an indication of national holidays, monthly plan with two pages per month, weekly plan with two pages per week, 13 pages for contacts and 5 pages for  notes with very small grid;
• Size approx. 4.1 x 5.5 inches(10.5 x14cm);
• 160 pages of 80gsm post-consumer recycled paper;
• Cover lined with fabric and spine lined with bookcloth, fully bound by hand;
• Cotton tape to mark the pages and elastic to keep the planner closed.

The selling price will be € 15.00.

Como está a ser a vossa semana?

A minha está a ser produtiva. Tenho algumas noticias para partilhar convosco.

Como alguns de vosses já sabem (quem segue através do Facebook) estou a terminar a preparação da Agenda para 2012.

Terei alguns exemplares para venda imediata na loja, mas por questões logisticas e para que esta seja exatamente como o cliente pretende, será feita por encomenda conforme as vossas especificações.

Poderão escolher o tipo de capa, tecido e tela de encadernação, o tamanho, de bolso (+/- A6) ou A5, e o tipo, diária ou semanal.

Para terem uma ideia de como será por dentro podem ver algumas imagens neste post. Todos os meses terão uma cor base diferente, por exemplo Janeiro é o Azul, Fevereiro o Verde, etc.

Está previsto que as primeiras estejam prontas para venda a meio do mês de Outubro mas podem desde já efectuar a reserva da vossa. Até ao final da semana na loja do Bigcartel e na loja Etsy terei a informação de como fazer a reserva, preços, prazos de entrega e tecidos disponíveis para escolha.

Em outras notícias, os cadernos da nova colecção estão a ser fotografados e até ao final do dia os primeiros deverão estar disponíveis na loja.

Como a preparação para a minha primeira feira levou mais tempo que o previsto não foi possível actualizar a loja na altura que indiquei. Mas de hoje não passa e até ao final da semana os restantes cadernos estaram também disponíveis.

How's your week being? 

Mine is being productive. I have some news to share with you. 

As some of your already know (those you follow through Facebook) I am finishing the preparation of the 2012 Planner (Agenda). 

I’ll have some copies for you to buy immediately at the store but for logistical reasons and because I want them to be exactly how the customer wants, it will be custom made as per your specifications. 

You can choose the cover type, fabric and book cloth, size, pocket size (+ / - A6) or A5, and type, daily or weekly. 

To get an idea of ​​how it will look inside you can see some pictures in this post. Every month will have a different base color, for example January is Blue, February is Green, and so on. 

I expect to have the first ones ready for sale in the middle of October but you may reserve yours right now. By the end of this week the Bigcartel shop and the Etsy shop will have information on how to reserve yours, prices, terms of delivery and fabrics to choose from. 

In other news, the new collection of notebooks is being photographed and by the end of the day the first ones should be available in shop. 

As the preparation for my first fair took more time than expected, it was not possible to update the shop as I told you, but today it will be done and until the end of the week the remaining notebooks will also be available.
